Every smile starts with an initial consultation!
Your first visit is complimentary and will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which of our affordable treatment options will best meet your needs. During your initial consultation, we will:
- Review your dental and medical history forms
- Perform a complete oral exam, with complimentary X-rays and Itero Digital Scan, to determine whether treatment is necessary
- Help you create a customized treatment plan
- Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans
Our team will be glad to answer any questions you may have, and we will provide all the information you need to determine which treatment is right for you. We know your time is valuable and we want your first visit to be as comfortable as possible. You can choose to begin your treatment on the same day. Scheduling Appointments
Visiting our office about every ten to twelve weeks is an essential part of your orthodontic treatment. Our practice will work with you to make sure your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, please let us know which days and times work best for you.
We understand that “life happens”! If you’re running late or need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. When you’re ready to schedule your first appointment, contact our practice and our friendly scheduling coordinator will assist you. We’re looking forward to working with you.
Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment
It is vital that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups, even during your orthodontic treatment. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure you receive the best possible care.

1. What are your office hours?
Our office is open Monday through Friday, with appointment times available throughout the week. Because our schedule may vary by day, we recommend calling our office or contacting us online for current hours and appointment availability. Our team will be happy to help find a time that works for you.
2. Do you offer both braces and Invisalign?
Yes! Hester & Morris Orthodontics offers both traditional braces and Invisalign clear aligners for children, teens, and adults. Every smile is different, so our doctors will recommend the treatment option that best fits your orthodontic needs, lifestyle, and goals.
3. Is Invisalign only for simple orthodontic cases?
Not at all. Invisalign can be an effective treatment option for many complex orthodontic cases when treatment is planned and supervised by an experienced orthodontic provider. Patient compliance is also important—you'll need to wear your aligners as directed to keep treatment progressing as planned.
4. Do you treat adults?
Absolutely! Orthodontic treatment isn't just for kids and teens. We offer both braces and Invisalign for adults who want to improve their smile, bite, or overall dental alignment. It's never too late to explore your options for a healthier, more confident smile.
5. When should my child first see an orthodontist?
Children can benefit from an orthodontic evaluation even if they aren't ready to begin treatment. At Hester & Morris Orthodontics, we use Growth & Development appointments to monitor changes as children grow and determine whether—and when—orthodontic treatment may be beneficial. Monitoring doesn't necessarily mean your child needs braces right away.
6. How do I schedule a consultation?
Getting started is easy! Contact our office to schedule your initial consultation, and our team will guide you through the process. We'll evaluate your smile, discuss any concerns you have, review possible treatment options, and answer your questions so you can make an informed decision.
7. What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
We understand that schedules change! If you need to move an appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible. Giving us advance notice helps our team find another appointment that works for you and allows us to offer your original time to another patient.
8. Can I just walk in if I need something?
To make sure we can give every patient the time and attention they deserve, we ask that you contact us before coming to the office for a visit. Scheduling ahead allows our team to prepare for your needs and helps reduce unnecessary wait times. 9. How often will I need orthodontic appointments?
Appointment frequency varies depending on your treatment plan and how your smile is progressing. We also offer remote monitoring options for eligible patients, which may help us keep an eye on treatment progress between in-office visits. Your Hester & Morris team will let you know when we need to see you in person.
10. How do I know whether braces or Invisalign is right for me?
You don't have to figure that out on your own! During your consultation, we'll evaluate your teeth and bite and talk with you about your lifestyle, preferences, and treatment goals. Both braces and Invisalign can produce excellent results. Our goal is to recommend the option that gives you the best combination of effectiveness, convenience, and confidence throughout treatment.
